The wines of Madiran and Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh, nestled between Gers, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and Hautes-Pyrénées, reveal the typicity of Southwest France thanks to their indigenous grape varieties. Madiran, dominated by Tannat, produces powerful, tannic, and age-worthy reds; Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh (dry or sweet), made primarily from Petit Manseng and Petit Courbu, offers aromatic, fresh, and delicious whites.
